Funding for Job Creation & Knowledge Transfer

Is your business making a strategic business change or planning an expansion project which will lead to the direct creation of new jobs?  If so, come and talk to us about our Knowledge Transfer Partnerships or find out whether The Lincoln Growth Fund can provide grant support to your business project.

Our Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are designed to facilitate the transfer of University expertise, research and new technologies for businesses across the East Midlands.  A range of business projects are eligible including: 

  • Product and process development
  • Introduction of new technologies
  • Development of new markets
  • Developing new services
  • Business improvement and cost reduction.

Business can benefit from, access to University expertise and facilities, skills development, improved competitiveness and profits.

The Lincoln Growth Fund, due to launch in November, will provide support to businesses demonstrating their capacity and strategy to directly create or safeguard sustainable jobs in the City of Lincoln region (LN1 to LN6 postcodes).  Operating as a fund of last resort, eligible businesses can apply for grants ranging from £20,000-£50,000 to support a range of projects.

Parking is available on the main campus car park off Ropewalk road opposite Toys R Us. Please place your ticket for this event on the dash board in your car
